Employees like this are a treasure for a company’s IT investments.
If you view employees with these qualities as an integral part of your system (a key function),
you may be able to reduce IT investment costs.
We recommend assigning the following tasks:
① System operation checks
A system functions correctly through these three operations: "input," "output," and "verification of output integrity."
These three operational functions are essential for the system to function properly.
Regarding the third point, "verification of output consistency,"
if you design a system that simplifies this verification process, the development costs will be high.
By assigning meticulous verification tasks to specially qualified employees,
you can reduce costs associated with automated verification functions and increase the proportion of investment allocated to other system features.
② Subsystem Development and Operation
If there are personnel capable of freely processing the data output from the system in Excel,
the system will have virtually no need for data aggregation functions.
Furthermore, if that Excel data can be repurposed for other administrative tasks,
there is no need to include those specific functions within the system.
③ Coordinator of System Improvement Proposals
If you can compile requests for the system from each department
and create internal meeting reports that include a preliminary assessment of what is necessary and what is not,
you may be able to avoid hiring an external consultant or reduce the fees you pay.
That's all, Thank you for reading.
