I occasionally hear this from company presidents, but they’re just being modest.
Fax machines aren’t going to disappear completely just yet,
and even in this day and age, it remains a powerful tool for sales.
The reason is that “there is still a strong customer base out there that relies on faxes.”
It is precisely because we live in this era that the fax is the tool for capturing that customer base.
That said, I don’t think there’s any problem with that.
However, by reviewing the methods used for sending and receiving faxes,
there is a possibility that it could yield benefits in terms of operational efficiency.
While electronic faxes are somewhat more expensive, the ability to send and receive faxes from anywhere is very convenient.
