Thank you for your interest and continued support.
This is Takahashi from the Marketing Plan Research Laboratory.
I’ll share a tip on how to procure systems at a low cost (or so it seems).
I’ll share a great tip with you.
① Request a brochure for the system you’re interested in
⇒ Check the back and bottom of the flyer.
You’re in luck if it lists the “distributor” or “manufacturer.”
② If the flyer lists a “manufacturer”
⇒ Look up the manufacturer’s contact information and try to purchase directly
③ If the flyer only lists a "Distributor"
⇒ Use Teikoku Databank or Tokyo Shoko Research
to find the distributor’s company information and locate the “Suppliers” section.
If you look up the suppliers and call them one by one,
you will find the manufacturer of the system you are interested in (or the parent distributor).
However, there are cases where they won’t sell to you due to exclusive agency agreements,
or the manufacturer may sell to distributors at a fixed markup, so the price may not go down in the end,
if you find the manufacturer, I recommend giving them a call just to see if they’ll sell to you, even if it seems like a long shot.
Even if you have to be careful not to sound too eager—
you might come across unexpectedly favorable terms (though you’ll need to crunch the numbers carefully).
That's all, Thank you for reading.
