Thank you for your interest and continued support.
This is Takahashi from the Marketing Plan Research Laboratory.
Before you begin evaluating systems (or requesting quotes),
there are several key points you should consider
I’d like to share them with you.
① Should we outsource it or develop it in-house?
② Is it possible to create a prototype in-house or manage operations using Excel?
(Even if you ultimately decide to hire a system developer, going through this step often makes the process run more smoothly.)
③ If outsourcing, should you hire a company, an individual, or a freelancer?
④ If you’re hiring a corporate IT firm, what kind of company do you want to work with?
(What is their scale? Number of employees? Capital? Location? Corporate credit rating? etc.)
⑤ Should we go with a packaged solution or a custom-built system?
(If it’s a packaged solution, you can probably search online and purchase it right away.)
⑥ Budget for system development and ongoing costs (monthly, annual)
⑦ Will you enter into a lease agreement or not?
⑧ How to find a provider?
(Will you ask a vendor, search online, or ask someone you know, etc.)
Of course, at the stage where you’re considering a system,
it is also important to clearly define
is important, but
it’s also a good idea to clarify in advance
is also something you should clarify in advance.
That's all, Thank you for reading.
