The fact that the IT market is expanding due to current trends
naturally means more opportunities for us system engineers to be of service,
which is the ultimate reward for a systems engineer.
but for individual company presidents,
“I won’t ask for anything until we win,”
and I believe that mindset should also be respected.


I have never seen a project with an unreasonably short timeline
I have never once seen a project succeed

Don’t get swept away by the vague and overly broad concept of “the trends of the times.”
It’s not the same as buying bread after seeing a commercial.
Observe what’s happening within your company and among your competitors,
and only when you find a gap between that and your own vision
only then should you consider a system as one possible solution.
It’s not too late to do that.
